About
Jocelyn Blair is a fantasy author currently living in Raleigh, North Carolina, with her wife. She has been writing since childhood, and has been developing the universe that her novels are set in, the world of Ennen, for a decade.
Jocelyn is passionate about humor, wordplay, and math, and loves finding ways to integrate all of them into her work in an intuitive and entertaining way. Her writing style is marked by a wry sense of humor and a down-to-earth style, even despite the fantastic setting.
Jocelyn is transgender, and, as such, representation in literature is important to her. She wants her stories to be a refuge for people who don’t normally find characters to relate to in fiction.
Jocelyn’s greatest influences were Terry Pratchett’s DISCWORLD series and Douglas Adams’ THE HITCHHIKER’S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY series. She hopes that readers who enjoyed those books will find her books engaging as well.
